His Easter Party!
Today was Jacob's Easter party. Everything went pretty well considering. I won't bore you with all those details. On a plus side Daddy dropped by for a bit. Jacob absolutely loved that. Daddy did almost all the picture taking. That was until he had to leave. He knows so much more about the new camera. He knows how to use it so much better. At Jacob's party we did all sorts of fun stuff. First we went outside for a small egg hunt. Then it was inside to dye Easter eggs, then we had a yummy snack, then we did a really fun craft. Braden's mom found it and really did a great job organizing it. It was little Easter Bonnet/Crowns cause on Easter everyone can wear crowns. After we did the craft we had story time. In which I had to read the story this time because our normal story reader wasn't there this time. We missed you Christine. I don't really do well with speaking in front of groups even if it is all four/five year olds. I managed though, then it was time to run around outside in the nice warm sun outside. Fun Times! The weather was fantastic today I only hope it's here to stay. I hope the forecast is wrong for the weekend at least Saturday anyway, I could definitely do without the rain. Oh well, onto to the pictures... Enjoy!
Her Easter Party!
On Tuesday Jenna had her Easter party at school. All the kids seemed to have a good time. They dyed some eggs, hunted for some eggs, had a snack and then had story time. This party had the most parents, there was a total of six parents there and only nine of the ten kids were at school that day. I was not a party parent this time around but it's still fun to go and watch all the kids. Especially Jenna she is a completely different little girl at school. She is so quiet compared to the non stop talk we have at home. It really is funny. I guess I should say it's a blessing. I told Joe hopefully she will stay that way,you know quieter at school. She is like me in so many ways, when it comes to her personality. I only say I hope she stays on the quiet side because in school I was always getting talked to about my talking. Can you imagine that? I know what a surprise right. Ha! Ha! Only time will tell. Onto some pictures from the party....

One Week Later....
****I have to add here that yes I did start this post two nights ago but was too tired to finish it. Here I am it's Tuesday/Wednesday and the current time is 12:29am..........****
Has it really been a week already? Time is really flying these past few weeks. Although I have a feeling that this next week is going to go by pretty slow. Since it is only 6 days (opps now 4) til we leave for Hawaii. I am really getting super excited in case you can't tell. Yes I am going to miss the kids horribly but I know they will be in good hands. Joe and I both really need this vacation. I think we both are ready to not have to go to work for one week. Just that in it's self is a great vacation, then throw Hawaii on top of that and well there ya go. Super excitement.
We had a really good weekend. On Thursday p.m. Jacob found a gift card from Chocolate World and decided he wanted to go there SOOOO BAD! On Saturday morning Daddy,Mommy, Jacob and Jenna all piled in Mommy's van and hit the road. And we were off to Chocolate World. We started the morning off by stopping in Martinsburg for breakfast at Cracker Barrel. When we first got to CW we watched The Really Big 3D Show. They both really enjoyed it. We then went over to the little factory works section where Jacob and Jenna got to package their own Kisses. We also went on the "tour" type ride. The weather could have been nicer but, then again we didn't spend to much time outside. All in all it was a great day and a nice short ride (kind of) in the car. Next time we go back we have decided that we'll plan for better weather. We have also decided that we will probably take the kids to the amusement park at some point because it does look like they actually have quite a bit of ride that Jacob and Jenna might enjoy.

Next step shake it up!
I am also going to have to to take back one other thing I said previously in this post. This week is really kind of flying by, already. Today (Wed) not only do we have therapy for my Jacob but the kids and I also have to take my car to get it inspected so I can finally put my JMELYN tags on it. On Friday I am going into town to the DTC for a quick trip to return a few things and I am also getting my hair trimmed. It's been about as long as I can take it, I am starting to see my ugly split ends come in and I've got to get rid of them quick. Just a trim nothing fancy and we'll see how trip number two goes with my new guy. Saturday we are gonna just stick around the house and try and do some last minute things so that the house isn't in total disarray when we leave. Hope everyone had a great weekend, and is having a great week.
Hugs...too cute!
A little Heshey's trivia if you will.....Did you know that their #1 selling candy is the Reese's Butter Cup?
**Also for those of you that I have not talked to since my DR's appointment and are curious. Yes I do have low blood pressure, big surprise there. But I will not be going on med for it as of yet, b/c my Dr. does not want to put me on meds if I'm not having "my spells" all the time. For now I am to do as she advised before...increase my salt intake and drink more liquids and not just water. If I start having more spells then I go back. So that's where I am for now?**

In a Nut Shell....
We had such a great weekend, the weather was great, just everything was great. Friday we went to the new park in Berryville, it was awesome. We had our play date there, so it was us and four of our neighbors. Nana also went with us, what a savior she was. I don't know how I would have done it without Nana. The play ground was huge, they also have the biggest slide I've ever seen. Kelly got some great pics of it. The kids all had a great time, and I had a little fun too. I had to go down the big slide a couple of times too, Jacob wouldn't have it any other way.
After we left the park we headed home and Daddy was home early. We then decided to head over to the other side of town to the new Sonic Burger for lunch. This was my first time ever having Sonic. It was pretty good but I have to say I don't think I'll ever find a better burger than In-N-Out. I guess I'm particle growing up on them and all.
Saturday we had our neighborhood yard sale. They had been calling for rain all week. That is until late Friday night the weather.com people finally changed it to sunny and a high of 71. Yeah, I was soooo excited no rain. It turned out to be a really great day, beautiful weather, a great yard sale. We did really well and we managed to get rid of a lot of stuff. We said goodbye to our high chair, pack n play, a swing, an umbrella stroller, One of Jacob's old car seats, Jenna's infant car seat, Jacob's Little Tikes tool bench, and a some other little odd and ends toys. Last but certainly not least, was most of what we sold and that was the kids clothes. As this was also a big seller at our last yard sale. As a matter of fact I had one customer at our last sale that asked me to call her if we had another sale. And so I did and she came back again and bought just as much as she did last time. She has a little boy and she bought a ton of Jacob's clothes.
The weather was so good on Saturday, Nana and the kids joined Daddy and I for a little bit. After dinner we spent some time outside, and visited with a couple of neighbors. Mommy worked Sunday so not much to report about that day. That's about it In a Nut Shell..................
